Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR)
|
Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) is a way to settle a civil disagreement without a court trial. Some ADR alternatives to consider are:
- Arbitration (Under Construction) - In arbitration, a neutral party conducts a hearing, receives evidence, and decides the outcome of the dispute.
and
- Mediation - In mediation, the neutral party does not decide the dispute but helps the parties communicate so they can settle the dispute themselves. The parties have a greater chance to participate than in trial or arbitration.
