02/18/15Jury Services: New!!!
  • Text your badge number to (661)200-7322 and have your PIN ready to schedule a reminder text, reschedule your service, and request a work certificate. You are still responsible for appearing on time, whether or not you receive a text.
  • You may request to be disqualified/excused from jury duty by clicking on Juror's Login Page.
  • You can now request a reminder call. We will attempt to contact you the evening before you are to report for jury service. However, you are still responsible for appearing on time, whether or not you receive a call. When you receive your summons, please call (661)868-4700 or 800-648-8444 and follow the instructions.
02/06/15There is another telephone scam in which residents are told by someone posing as a law enforcement warrant officer that they failed to report to jury duty and now owe a $500 bond. The caller demands immediate payment over the phone or says "they would be subject to immediate arrest." Most victims have been over the age of 50 and were asked to purchase reloadable "Green Dot" debit cards to pay the fines.

Community Outreach
The Kern County Community Outreach effort began in 1998 with a committee chaired by the Honorable Roger D. Randall of the Superior Court. The strategic plan requires the development of external and internal efforts that will focus the limited resources of the Courts on meeting their designated mission. One ongoing project of this committee, the docent (court volunteer) program, helps to make the courts more user friendly.
