The Superior Court of California, County of Kern (“Court”) recently solicited proposals for juror shuttle services under RFP 201904-TRANSPORT. The Court did not receive a sufficient number of responsive proposals. Therefore, the Court is re-soliciting proposals from qualified services providers for professional transportation services to transport jurors, on a rotational basis, from the juror parking lots, located on L Street and 14th Street, and Eye Street and 14th Street (south of the railroad tracks) to the courthouses at 1415 Truxtun Avenue and 1215 Truxtun Avenue. The requested services are for pick up and drop off. The Court intends to award a contract for an initial one-year term with options to renew for four (4) additional one-year terms. The deadline for questions is May 9, 2019 and proposals must be submitted no later than May 16, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. (Pacific Time. As instructed in the RFP, interested proposers must submit all questions and communications to the Court’s Solicitations Mailbox at purchasing@kern.courts.ca.gov.
