Fees Fines and Payment Options

Fines are due on or before the date set by the court. Failure to pay your fine on time may result in a warrant being issued for your arrest, a suspension of your driving privileges, and/or a $300 civil assessment penalty. You may request a financial re-evaluation or modification of payments by appearing at the Revenue Recovery Division. No payment extensions will be granted. Make checks and/or money orders payable to Kern County Superior Court To insure your payment is credited to your case, always write your case number on your check and/or money order.

  1. The drop box is located in front of the Justice building
  2. While traveling east on Truxtun Avenue, the box is on the right side of the street between L St. and N St.
  3. It is blue with three white stripes on the top and the bottom and is labeled "Superior Court Traffic and Criminal Fine Payments"
